Planning my trailer (Documents and location)

Updated: May 16, 2022

Props needed etc..

You can see here that we all organised our clothing and props we needed our teacher andrea set all the props up for us for the film trailer so we could use it with the genre and anything else we needed we also planned our characters names and the basic clothes what we would be wearing. It is really important too be organised with props and costumes as this plays a big part of the mise-en-scene

Call sheets

It is iimportant because evrybody in the cast and crew knows exactually where they must be on set to not delay filming. The calls sheets or all emailed out to all the cast crew and all our teachers so they know where they are incase of emergency.

Script, Storyboard and synopsis

It is important because then know all know what to say during our filming and if we mess up on what we say we then have a sheet with all of our parts on it and the whole plan helps us with that because then we can just re do the shot in the trailer and edit the ones out that we messed up on if it is not as good as the other ones.

Location Recce

What is a location recce?

The location was in worden park and the storyboard helped a lot because it looks like the actual location of the realistic version and it works as a plan cause each step looks the same with the location because it is in the woods and its where the trailer was set so when people watch it they know where the location is.

Location 1: Friends meet on the bridge

link to storyboard and script

It links to the storyboard with the same location and where it takes place because we all meet on the bridge .

Location 2: handheld point of view shot

link to storyboard and script

This links to the storyboard because the same location on the storyboard version looks mostly like the realisitic version and in this scene this is towards the ending where we run away and then it leaves you on a cliff hanger.
